The CV aircraft, known as CF-1 and CF-2, completed the milestone as part of an F-35 flight test program that will accomplish more than 1,000 flights in 2013 ….”
  • F-35 Tug o’ War (2)  …. and glass is half empty  “Pentagon and industry officials worked through the weekend to determine what caused the failure of a fuel line on the Marine Corps version of Lockheed Martin Corp’s s (LMT) F-35 fighter jet that prompted the plane’s grounding on Friday.  A spokesman for Pratt & Whitney, a unit of United Technologies Corp (UTX) that builds the engines for the jets, said those involved included officials from Stratoflex, a unit of Parker Hannifin Corp (PH) that built the fuel line.  No comment was immediately available from Stratoflex ….”
