- “Canada to allocate Ukraine $50 mln – Ambassador — Canada plans to allocate Ukraine additional $50 million of financial assistance. Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Waschuk said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine. “I think that in the next fiscal year, starting in April, we will allocate an additional $50 million. The rest will depend on development of the situation in Ukraine,” he said. The diplomat also said that if the truce in Donbas is broken, the Canadian authorities would be willing to consider different options for assistance to Ukraine.
