….goodbye to the Taliban’s military boss, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, who is reportedly a guest of Pakistani intelligence, according to the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Here’s his last signed statement from October 2009, saying the Taliban couldn’t be bought.
Have to agree with Thomas Ruttig that it may be early to figure out ALL the implications, but I also have to agree with Joshua Foust saying it IS a big deal.
